I am an instructional consultant who works with administrators and teachers to improve teaching efficacy and student outcomes. Pulling from my own experiences in classroom teaching and training in instructional coaching, I build rapport with teachers and identify areas for growth.
By collaborating and drawing upon my expertise in differentiated instruction, teachers expand and implement methodology to meet the needs of all learners in the classroom. I also assist teachers new to the profession or school site adjust to the many demands of a well-run classroom. Classroom management strategies, flexible grouping, curriculum design and development, supporting teacher teaming, and enhancing tech integration are areas that I coach.
As a result of working with me, teachers use more classroom data to be precise, analytical and reflective about their practice. Instructional time is maximized, students engage in well-designed, scaffolded curricula and they use multiple measures of assessment to drive instruction.
With my coaching, students are more consistently on-task and focused; teachers report being more successful in their endeavors, invigorated and curious. While I work with teachers in independent, public and charter schools, most of my recent work has been with independent schools.
